5. Officers to crack down on tourism violations through August
Illegal lodging, transportation and agencies target foreigners

The Jeju Municipal Police will strengthen crackdown on illegalities in the tourism sector for 3 months starting June.

Authorities have formed a special team to crack down on unregistered travel agencies, illegal transportation and accommodation businesses.

The team will focus on inspecting illegal lodging facilities using unsold houses and illegal tourism practices targeting foreigners.

Officers have uncovered 76 cases of violations in the tourism sector this year.

이를 위해 관광사범 전담 단속반을 편성해
무등록여행업과 불법 유상운송 행위,
불법 숙박영업행위를 대대적으로 단속합니다.

특히 미분양 주택을 이용한 불법 숙박영업과
외국인관광객을 대상으로 한
불법 여행업 행위 단속을 중점 실시합니다.
제주자치경찰단은 올들어 지금까지
모두 76건의 관광 관련 위반행위를 적발했습니다.
