2. JDC to launch construction project of 2nd Jeju Science park
Joint complex to accommodate IT, BT, CT industry businesses

The Jeju International City Development Center (JDC) is taking steps to launch the construction project of the second Jeju Science Park from June.

JDC is investing 320 billion won to construct the science park on 840,000 square meters of land at Wolpyeong-dong.

It also secured 166 billion won to compensate land owners of the construction site. Compensatory negotiations will begin from June 10th.

A joint complex of the first and second Jeju Science Park will accommodate businesses in the information technology, biotech and culture technology industry and the Electric Vehicle Special Zone project.

JDC expects to start constructions from 2020 after compensating landowners and finalizing the construction plan.

제주국제자유도시개발센터는 다음달부터
사업비 3천 200억원을 투입하는
제주첨단과학기술단지 2단지 조성사업을 시작한다고 밝혔습니다.

월평동 84만 제곱미터 부지에 조성되며
1단지와 연계해
전기자동차 특구 등 IT와 BT, CT 산업을 유치하게 됩니다.

특히 토지보상비로 1천 660억원을 확정해
내달 10일부터
본격적인 보상 협의에 나설 예정입니다.

JDC는 토지보상과 실시설계 등의 절차를 거쳐
내년부터
부지 조성공사에 들어갈 수 있을 것으로 예상하고 있습니다.
