Local unsold new homes peak at 774 units

The number of new unsold houses on the market in Jeju is at its peak.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that 774 new housing units were left unsold at the end of April. This is 38 more than the previous peak at 736 units last November.

The Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation recently relabled Jeju a region in which unsold houses should be managed. The number of local unsold residences totalled 1,245, marking an increase of 18 units from April.

'준공 후 미분양' 역대 최다…774세대 이르러

이른 바 악성 미분양으로 불리는
준공 후 미분양 주택이 역대 최대치를 기록했습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면
지난 달 말 제주도내 준공 후 미분양 주택은
774세대로 파악됐습니다.

역대 가장 많았던
지난해 11월 736세대보다 38세대 늘어난 규모입니다.

한편 도내 전체 미분양 주택은 1천 245세대로
전달보다 18세대 늘었고
제주시는 미분양관리지역으로 재지정됐습니다.
