Big data analysis to enhance efficiency of inspection

Seogwipo City is using big data analysis to crack down on illegal parking in handicapped parking spaces.

City officials said that the National Information Resources Service completed a big data analysis of the 3-year dataset of handicapped parking spaces.

The results will be used to create a map for optimal crackdown and efficiently allocate manpower.

Meanwhile, the number of complaints filed through Seogwipo City last year for illegal parking in handicapped parking spaces nearly tripled to 3,000 over the past three years

서귀포시가 장애인전용주차구역 불법주정차 단속에
빅데이터를 활용합니다.

서귀포시는
국가정보자원관리원에 의뢰해
장애인전용주차구역과 관련한 최근 3년간의 빅데이터 분석을
마무리했다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 이를 바탕으로 지역별 최적의 단속지도를 제작하고
단속인력을 재배해 효율성을 높여나가기로 했습니다.

한편 장애인 불법주정차 관련해
지난해 서귀포시역의 민원은 3천건으로 3년 전에 비해
2.8배 증가했습니다.
