5. Consumer prices up 0.5% in May
Groceries show high rate of growth

Local consumer prices is on the rise.

According to the Honam Regional Statistics Office, local consumer prices were up 0.5% this May, compared to the same period last year. The price increase was mainly observed in agricultural and marine products.

Grocery prices such as rice, oriental melons and pork rose significantly and led the upward trend.

지난달 제주지역 소비자물가는
농축수산물을 중심으로
지난해 같은 기간 보다 0.5% 상승한 것으로 나타났습니다.

특히 쌀과 참외, 돼지고기 등 식품 가격이
전년대비 큰 폭으로 오르며 상승세를 이끌었습니다.
