4. Local apartment prices on the rise
‘Jeonse’ lease prices continue to fall

Apartment sales prices are rising here in Jeju for four consecutive weeks.

The Korea Appraisal Board said local apartment prices rose 0.2 percent over the week ending June 9th. This was the highest increase rate in the nation.

Only Jeju Island and Daejeon Metropolitan City showed increase in apartment prices compared to the week before.

Prices for ‘jeonse’ leases, in which the renter makes a huge down payment is then returned in full at the end of the contract, fell 0.14% over the same period, marking a decline for 22 weeks in a row.

6월 첫째주 제주지역 아파트 매매가격은
전주보다 0.2% 상승하며
전국에서 가장 높은 상승률을 보였습니다.

전국적으로 아파트 매매가격이 하락하고 있는 가운데
전주보다 상승한 곳은 대전과 제주가 유일합니다.

한편 제주지역 아파트 전세 가격은
전주보다 0.14% 떨어지며
22주 연속 하락세를 보였습니다.
