5. Jeju CCI and VCCI make agreement for economic cooperation
MOU to boost trade signed on June 7

The Jeju Chamber of Commerce signed an MOU with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry on June 7th at Hanoi to strengthen economic, trade and investment ties between Jeju Island and Vietnam.

The two parties agreed to mutually share information on business environments and investment opportunities and to gradually expand trade.

Trade with Vietnam accounts for 14.7 percent of the nation’s foreign trade volume. This agreement is expected to help local companies enter the Vietnamese market.
