3. 560 teachers to participate in 4·3 Incident education session
Special lecture by Hyun Ki Young scheduled on June 14

The Jeju April 3rd Incident Peace Foundation and the Provincial Office of Education will conduct a programme to educate teachers about the April 3rd Incident.

A total of 560 teachers will visit Jeju from nationwide to participate in the eight sessions held from June 14th through November.

Each sessions will offer lectures and field trips to April 3rd historic sites.

The programme will kick off with a special lecture on ‘Literature and the April 3rd Incident’ by Hyun Ki Young, an author from Jeju specializing in modern history of the island.

모두 8차례에 걸쳐
전국 560명의 교사를 대상으로 4·3 전문교육을 실시합니다.

교육은
이론수업과 함께
4·3 유적지 현장을 둘러보는 프로그램으로 이뤄집니다.

특히 연수 첫 날인 오는 14일에는
현기영 소설가가
'4·3과 문학'을 주제로 특강할 예정입니다.
