2. Over 130,000 sign petition requesting execution of Koh Yu-jeong
Government to officially reply with more than 200,000 participants

In related news, more than 130,000 people have joined a public petition asking national government to put Koh Yu-jeong on death row. Ms. Koh is a 36-year-old woman who have been alleged to have killed her ex-husband. The petition was posted on June 7th by the bereaved families of the victim.

The petition requests the court to impose a death sentence to Koh to show law-and-order.

Cheong Wa Dae and the government are required to give an official answer to petitions signed by more than 200,000 people.
