Memorial altars set up in Jeju and Seogwipo City

Islanders have paid their respects at the memorial altar for former First Lady Lee Hee-ho, the wife of South Korean President Kim Dae-jung. She died on June 10th aged 96.

The Jeju branch of the Democratic Party of Korea organized memorial altars on June 12th to receive public condolences over a two-day period.

The memorial altars were set up at the local office of the Democratic Party of Korea in Jeju City and the party’s committee office in Donghong-dong, Seogwipo City.

이희호 여사가 향년 97세를 일기로 타계하자

분향소는

서귀포시는 동홍동 민주당 서귀포시 지역위원회 사무실에
각각 마련됐습니다.
