4. Research to devise basic plan of island’s second airport begins Province to conduct research through September 2020

The province is preparing for devising the basic plan of the island’s second airport that promotes co-prosperity within the island.

The project will be carried out through September 2020 with an investment of 500 million won.

The basic plan will reflect developing transportation and logistics industries in connection with the second airport, relocating and compensating residents of the planned construction site, and create urban areas near the new airport.

The province will reflect islander’s opinion as much as possible through meetings as the project is aimed to benefit the whole local community.

제2공항 도민 상생발전 기본계획 용역이 시작됐습니다.

제주특별자치도가 추진하는 이번 용역은
내년 9월까지
사업비 5억여원을 투입해 진행됩니다.

2공항과 연계한 교통과 물류 산업 발전계획,
공항 예정지 주민에 대한 이주대책과 보상,
그리고 공항 배후도시 조성 계획이 용역에 담기게 됩니다.

도민을 위한 발전계획인 만큼
현장 간담회 등을 통해
지역 주민들의 의견을 최대한 반영할 계획입니다.
