1. MOIS to review setting Facilities Management Corporation in Jeju
Committee to discuss size of establishment June 19

The Ministry of Interior and Security (MOIS) is planning to review plans to establish a Facilities Management Corporation in Jeju at the Government Complex Seoul on Wednesday.

A review committee of MOIS will discuss the size of the establishment with the provincial government during the session.

The province will submit an ordinance for the establishment of the corporation in the island to the provincial council immediately after the plan is passed.

The Facilities Management Corporation will be in charge of managing the operation of facilities for public buses, environment, parking and sewage. The organization will be the largest public enterprise in the island, once it is launched early next year after an ordinance amendment.

행안부 사전설립심의위원회는
시설 공단 규모를 놓고
제주도와 협의할 예정입니다.

제주도는
심사에서 통과되면
곧바로 시설관리공단 설립 조례를 도의회에 제출할 예정입니다.

시설관리공단은
공영버스와 환경, 주차, 하수 분야의
운영관리를 전담하게 되며,
조례 개정을 거쳐
내년초 출범을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
