1. Province receives 101 opinions on island’s second airport
Selected ideas sent to land ministry for basic plan inclusion

The provincial government received a total of 101 opinions on the basic plan of the island’s second airport from islanders.

Suggestions include improving the compensation system for residents of the construction site and the environment near the new airport, expanding infrastructure and cultural tourism facilities. There were also proposals to devise plans for co-prosperity of local community and for the province to gain operational rights to the second airport.

Some asked the province to amend a taxation Act to reduce transfer tax rate of lands used for self-cultivation.

The provincial government will deliver the selected ideas to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to be reflected in the basic plan and include the rest in the plans for co-prosperity of local community pushed by the province.

모두 101건이 접수됐습니다.

주요내용을 보면
편입 토지주에 대한 보상과 제도개선,
정주환경을 비롯한 환경개선,
기반시설 확충,
공항운영과 참여방안,
상생발전 방안, 관광문화시설 확충 등입니다.

특히 제2공항 개발 예정지에 편입되는
자경농에 대한 충분한 보상과 더불어
조세특례법 개정을 통한
양도소득세 감면에 대한 제도개선을 요구하기도 했습니다.

제주도는
접수된 의견에 대해
제2공항 기본계획에 반영할 사항은 국토부에 전달하고
나머지는 제주도가 시행중인
상생발전계획에 담기로 했습니다.
