Police send bones to NFS for DNA profiling

Members of an investigative team from Jeju Dongbu Police Station have discovered body parts in Gimpo that may belong to Koh Yu-jeong's ex-husband.

Koh Yu-jeong is alleged to have killed her ex-husband at a pension in Jocheon-eup. She dismembered and disposed of his body at various locations to destroy evidence.

Police in Gimpo discovered what appears to be bone fragments in the pipes of a house owned by Koh's father in Gyeonggi-do Province on Wednesday.

Officers sent them to the National Forensics Service for DNA profiling.

The police have previously sent 40 bone fragments found at an incineration plant in Gimpo-si to NFS for evaluation.

추가로 발견됐습니다.

제주동부경찰서는 19일
고유정 부친이 소유한 경기도 김포시 소재 아파트 쓰레기 배관에서
뼈로 추정되는 물건을 발견해 국립과학수사연구원에 DNA 감정을 의뢰했습니다.

발견된 물체는
A4 상자 절반을 채울정도의 양인 것으로 알려졌습니다.

앞서 경찰은
김포의 모 쓰레기 소작장에서도
피해자의 것으로 추정되는 뼛조각 40여 점을 발견해
국과수에 감정을 의뢰했습니다.
