Corroborative investigation to identify Koh’s motives of murder

In related news, the Jeju District Public Prosecutor’s Office decided to extend Koh Yu-jeong’s arrest period.

The local prosecutors office announced to extend Koh’s arrest period from June 21 to July 1st. Local prosecutors will conduct corroborative investigation with the police and focus on finding out the exact motive, process and methods of her crime.

The offender is currently showing uncooperative behavior towards investigation and has not claimed any mental illness yet.

구속기한을 연장하기로 했습니다.

제주지방검찰청은
고유정에 대한 1차 구속기한이
내일(21일)자로 만료됨에 따라
다음달 1일까지 연장해 보강수사를 벌인다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 경찰 수사를 토대로
범행 동기와 방법 등을 명확하게 규명하겠다는 방침입니다.

현재 고유정은 수사에 비협조적인 태도를 보이고 있으며
재판에서 감경 사유가 될 만한 정신 병력 등을 주장하지 않는 것으로 알려졌습니다.
