2. 5 beaches in Jeju now open for summer season
Province to allocate safety guards to 11 beaches

Last Saturday, 5 local beaches opened for the summer season.

Travelers and locals are welcome to visit Hyeopjae, Geumneung, Iho, Hamdeok and Gwakji beaches, which have been open to the public since June 22nd. The official opening dates of other beaches including Samyang, Gimnyeong, Singyang, Jungmun, Pyoseon, Hwasun beaches will be July 1st.

Lifeguards will be stationed at the 11 designated beaches at all times to ensure visitors’ safety.

제주도내 5개 해수욕장이 22일 개장했습니다.

개장한 해수욕장은
협재와 금능, 이호, 함덕, 곽지해수욕장 입니다.

삼양과 김녕, 신양, 중문, 표선, 화순해수욕장은
다음달 1일 개장합니다.

제주도는 지정해수욕장 11곳에
안전요원을 상시 배치할 계획입니다.
