3. Local prosecutor wins personal case against justice minister
Complaint sought to overturn punitive one-month pay reduction

The Jeju District Prosecutor’s Office former Deputy Chief Prosecutor Kim Han-soo won in his lawsuit against the justice minister. He had filed a complaint to the Seoul Administrative Court to revoke disciplinary action taken against him.

Kim was previously handed a one-month salary reduction as punishment for withdrawing an arrest warrant request without notifying the prosecutor in charge.

감봉 처분을 받은 김한수 전 제주지검 차장검사가
징계에 불복해 낸 소송에서 승소했습니다.

서울행정법원 행정1부는
김 전 차장검사가
법무부 장관을 상대로 낸
징계처분 취소 소송에서
감봉 처분을 취소한다며
원고 승소 판결했습니다.

앞서 김 전 차장검사는
재작년 6월 주임 검사가 낸 압수수색 영장 청구서를
당사자에게 알리지 않고 회수했다가
감봉 1개월 처분을 받았습니다.
