5. Seoul selects 24 ‘accessible tourism’ sites
4 local attractions to receive \160M

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism selected four tourist attractions in Jeju Island, including Seongsan Ilchulbong as ‘accessible tourism’ destinations.

The ministry chose 24 sites in six regions across the country as 'accessible tourism’ destinations. Each selected site will receive 160 million won.

Four local tourist sites were selected, including Seongsan Ilchulbong, Seobok Exhibition Hall, Seogwipo Forest of Healing and Olle Trail No.7.

Designating ‘accessible tourism’ destinations began in 2015. Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls in Jeju Island was previously selected in 2017.

성산일출봉 등 4곳 열린관광지 선정

성산일출봉 등 제주도내 관광지 4곳이
정부에서 선정한 전국 열린관광지로 뽑혔습니다.

문화체육관광부가
올해 실시한 전국 열린관광지 사업 공모를 통해
전국 6개 권역에 24곳을 선정했습니다.

이 가운데 제주에서는
성산일출봉과 서복전시관,
서귀포 치유의 숲, 올레 7코스 등 네 곳이 포함됐습니다.

정부의 열린관광지 공모사업은 2015년부터 시작됐고
제주에서는 2017년 천지연폭포가 선정된 바 있습니다.
