2. Over 210,000 sign petition for death penalty of Koh Yu-jeong
Participants await official reply from Seoul

In related news, more than 210,000 people have joined a public petition asking the national government to put Koh Yu-jeong on death row. The government's response to the petition is drawing attention as it is required to give official answers to petitions signed by more than 200,000 people.

As of June 25th, more than 210,000 people have signed the petition posted by the bereaved family of the victim on June 7th.

The petition requests the court to impose a death sentence to Koh demonstrating that there is law-and-order in this country.
