3. Research team completes ecological study at Bijarim Road
Province to devise environmental preservation measures

A team of environmental specialists finished examining the Bijarim Road expansion construction site for any protected species.

The province held a meeting with the team at the Seolmundae Women’s Culture Center on Wednesday to share the results of the environmental studies conducted from June 10th to 24th.

The team found some protected species such as scarab beetle and eastern narrow-mouthed toad living near the construction site.

The province will submit environmental preservation measures to the Yeongsan River On-site Response Team on June 28th.

비자림로 공사 구간에서
희귀 동식물에 대한
정밀생태조사가 마무리됐습니다.

제주도는
26일 설문대여성문화센터에서
비자림로 정밀생태조사반 최종 회의를 열고
지난 10일부터 24일까지 실시한
분야별 생태조사 결과를 공유했습니다.

이번 조사에서는
멸종위기종인 애기뿔쇠똥구리와 맹꽁이 등이
비자림로 공사 구간에 서식하는 것으로 확인됐습니다.

제주도는
소규모 환경영향평가 수행 업체에서
환경피해 저감 대책을 수립하면
28일 영산강 유역환경청에 관련 내용을 제출할 계획입니다.
