5. Police conducts face-to-face investigation with Koh Yoo-jeong
Connection between Koh and death of her stepson yet unfound

Cheongju Sangdang Police Station conducted a face-to-face investigation with Koh in Jeju on the death case of her stepson.

Koh Yu-jeong is currently under arrest for allegedly killing her ex-husband and dismembering and disposing of his body to get rid of evidence.

The Cheongju Sangdang Police station dispatched seven officers including a profiler to Jeju prison to ask Koh’s about the death of her stepson.

The investigation team met Koh at the detention center to investigate the circumstances and details of the child’s death.

Prosecutors who have indicted Koh said they haven’t found any connection between the death of her stepchild and the murder of her ex-husband yet.

고유정 의붓아들의 사망 사고를 조사하고 있는
충북 경찰이 제주에서 고유정을 상대로 대면조사를 벌였습니다.

청주 상당경찰서는
1일 프로파일러를 포함한 수사관 7명을 제주교도소에 보내
의붓아들 사망과 관련해 고유정을 직접 조사했습니다.

수사팀은 구치소에서 고유정을 참고인 신분으로 만나
의붓아들 사망 경위와
당시 정황 등을 조사한 것으로 전해졌습니다.

한편 고유정을 구속 기소한 검찰은
의붓아들 사망과 전 남편 살해 사건과의 연관성에 대해서는
확인되지 않았다고 밝혔습니다.
