1. Prosecutor finds Koh Yu-jeong’s crime pictures
Experts to conduct DNA test on evidences

It was belatedly confirmed that Koh Yu-jeong, a 36-year-old woman currently charged for allegedly killing her ex-husband, had photographed the process of her murder and disposal of the victim’s body.

The Jeju District Public Prosecutor's Office secured three photos related to the murder taken before and after the crime from Koh’s cellphone and submitted them to the court as evidence.

One photo taken on May 25th shows the inside of a pension in Jocheon-eup where Koh is alleged to murder her ex-husband.

Another picture was taken at the deck of a ferry bound for Wando Island on May 28th. The picture shows the suitcase that contained the dismembered body of the victim.

Prosecutor believe that the photos were shot in the process of the crime as Koh’s current husband said that Koh takes pictures before she does something important.

Meanwhile, the prosecution has asked for a DNA test again on items that were previously found to have no trace of the victim’s DNA.

자신의 범행 기록을 담은
사진을 촬영했던 것으로 뒤늦게 확인됐습니다.

제주지방검찰청은
압수한 고유정의 휴대폰에서
범행 전후로 의미있는 사진을 확보해
법원에 증거로 제출했다고 밝혔습니다.

검찰에 따르면 사진은 모두 3장으로
고유정이 전 남편을 살해한 것으로 추정되는
지난 5월 25일 조천읍 펜션 내부 모습과

5월 28일 완도행 여객선 갑판에서
전 남편 시신을 담은 여행용 가방이 포착됐습니다.

검찰은 고유정이 중요한 일을 하기 전에 사진을 찍는다는
현 남편의 진술에 따라
범행 과정에 촬영된 것으로 보고 있습니다.

한편 검찰은
피해자에게서 졸피뎀 성분을 추가로 확보하기 위해
기존에 DNA가 검출되지 않았던 증거물들에 대해 재감정을 의뢰했습니다.
