3. Local school starts summer vacation this week
Longest break: 54 days, shortest: 18 days

Local schools will begin their summer vacation starting with Hyodon Middle School on July12th.

The length of the vacation period is determined at the discretion of the school principals.

Seogwibuk Elementary School and Seogwipo Joongang Elementary School have the longest vacations at 54 days.

Sinchon Elementary School, Samsung Girls' High School, Seogwipo Girls’ High School and Seogwipo Onseong School have the shortest at 18 days.
