3. Jeju to establish export logistics center at Incheon Port
Facility to handle significant quantities of exported flat fish

The province will construct an export logistics center for local flat fish at Incheon Port.

The provincial government will spend 7 billion won by November to build a three-story building with a total area of 2,800 square meters near the Incheon Port.

The logistics center will be able to store large quantities of locally grown fish in its tanks and refrigerated storage facilities.

Local officials expect the center to expand the export market of local flat fish and stabilize its market price.

인천항에 양식광어 수출물류센터 조성 추진

인천항에 제주산 양식 광어 수출물류센터가 들어섭니다.

제주특별자치도는
인천항 항만 배후부지에 11월까지 70억 원을 투입해
2천 8백제곱미터, 지상 3층 규모로 물류센터를 건립할 계획입니다.

물류센터에는
관리동과 수조동, 냉장 냉동보관시설 등을 갖춰
제주산 활어를 대량 보관한 뒤 수출이 가능해질 전망입니다.

제주도는
수출 물류센터가 건립되면
제주산 광어 수출 시장 확대와
가격 안정화에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있습니다.
