4. Udo Island rental car ban extended to 2022
Restrictions on rental cars and charter buses began in 2017

The rental car restrictions in (우도)Udo island have been extended for three more years.

Jeju provincial government said that the ban on rental cars and chartered buses entering the Udo island will be extended until July 2022.

The restriction of rental cars on the Udo island was first put in place in August 2017, and since then, the average number of vehicles visiting it has been decreased by 290 vehicles per day and auto traffic at intersections in Udo island has been declined by more than 40%.

지난 2017년 시행된 우도 렌터카 반입제한 조치가 3년 더 연장됩니다.

제주특별자치도는
우도에 렌터카와 전세버스 반입을 통제하는 운행 제한 명령을
다음달부터
2022년 7월까지 3년간 연장한다고 밝혔습니다.

우도에 렌터카 반입이 제한된 2017년 8월 이후
2년 동안 방문 차량이
하루 평균 290대가 줄었고,
교차로 통행량도 40% 이상 감소한 것으로 나타났습니다.
