5. Jeju Samdasoo Masters August 9-11
Prize pool of \800m

The 6th Jeju Samdasoo Masters, an Korea LPGA event, will be from August 9th through the 11th at Ora Country Club.

It is hosted by the Jeju Province Development Corporation and sponsored by the provincial government and Kwangdong Pharmaceuticals.

There is a 800 million won prize pool, and the champion will receive 160 million won.

Among the top golfers who will be competing are Park In-bee, last year’s Jeju Masters winner O Ji-hyeon, Go Jin-yeong and Choi Hae-jin.

Organizers have prepared a number of events, including so-called Pro-Am rounds, where amateur golfers pair up with professional golfers for local residents and people dreaming of becoming golfers.
