3. Police to inspect guesthouses to prevent crime
129 reports of violence and complaint recorded from local lodgings

The local police will inspect local pensions to prevent crime.

The Jeju Provincial Police Agency and the municipal police will set up a joint inspection team and will first inspect some 100 registered guest houses and 240 accommodation facilities using the name of "guest house".

The inspection will find out causes of accidents in the guest houses by analyzing phone call records from guest houses to the police.

In the past year, 129 cases have been reported by accommodation facilities. The cases include 33 noise complaints, 23 disputes between customer and owner and 21 reports of violence.

휴양펜션업으로 등록된 100여군데와
펜션이라는 명칭을 사용하는 240여 곳을 우선 점검합니다.

이번 점검에서는
최근 1년 동안 펜션에서
112로 신고된 이력을 분석해
문제점과 원인을 정밀 진단하게 됩니다.

최근 1년 동안 펜션에서는
소음과 같은 민원 33건을 비롯해 업주와의 시비 23건,
폭력 21건 등
129건이 신고된 것으로 집계됐습니다.
