5. 3 Chinese nationals jailed for theft
They steal over ￦20M valuables

Three Chinese nationals have been sentenced to prison on charges of theft.

They were charged with four counts of burglary from last December to this January. They were found to have stolen valuables worth over 20 million won.

Jeju District Court Judge Lee Jang-wook sentenced 29-year-old and 27-year-old thieves each to four years behind bars. The other offender was sentenced to a two-year term.

The judge stated in his sentencing that the offenders had stolen large sums of valuables over a short period of time in overseas and the damages they have inflicted is not restored.

2천여 만 원 상당의 금품을 훔친 혐의로 기소된
20대 중국인 3명에게
징역 2년에서 4년의 실형을 선고했습니다.

이 판사는 판결문에서
중국인들이 제주로 원정까지 와서 귀중품을 훔쳐,
죄질이 매우 불량하고
피해도 회복되지 않았다며
이 같이 선고한다고 판시했습니다.
