1. Typhoon Francisco to bring gust to Jeju
Strong winds and high waves require vigilance

The season’s eighth typhoon Francisco is moving towards Jeju Island.

The Jeju Branch of Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts that it will not hit the island directly, but will bring very strong gust up to 20m/s and very high seas up to 5 meters with 5 to 40 millimeters of rainfall to the island on Tuesday.

Typhoon Francisco is a relatively small typhoon moving at a speed of 36 kilometers per hour with a central pressure of 985 hPa. It is expected to reach the sea 210 kilometers east of Seogwipo City at 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the season's ninth typhoon Lekima is moving in a northeasterly direction from its current location near Okinawa, Japan.

KMA says the storm may change direction, so it is advising area residents to stay up-to-date with forecasts.

이후 남해안으로 빠져나갈 것으로 전망됩니다.

기상청은 태풍 진로가 상당히 유동적인 만큼
앞으로 발표되는 정보에 유의해 줄 것을 당부했습니다.
