2. Land Ministry praises Jeju for efficiently executing budget
Provincial government receives additional budget of \1B

The provincial government was the selected among local governments for efficiently executing its budget for the urban renewal project during the first half of this year. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport granted Jeju an additional budget of 1 billion won for the project.

During the first half of this year, the province invested 80 percent of its national fund to urban renewal projects in the old downtown area and Sinsanmeoru in Jeju City and Wolpyeong Village in Seogwipo City.

Local governments of Jeju and Sejong City received additional state funding of 1 billion won for meeting the incentive requirements of spending more than 50% of the state funds in urban renewal projects.

The provincial government’s budget for urban renewal projects in the second half increased from 15 billion won to 16 billion won.

상반기 도시재생 재정 집행 우수 지자체로 선정돼
국토부로부터 추가 예산을 확보했습니다.

올 상반기동안 제주도는
제주시 원도심 사업과 신산머루 사업,
월평마을 만들기 사업 등에 국비 80%를 집행했습니다.

인센티브 지원 요건인
국비 50% 이상 집행 실적을 충족하면서
세종과 함께
국비 10억 원을 추가 지원 받게 됐습니다.

이에 따라
하반기 도시재생 사업 예산도
150억 원에서 160억 원으로 증액됐습니다.
