2. Province to trial run farmer salary system
101 local farms to participate

The provincial government is introducing a monthly salary system for local farmers on a trial basis starting this month.

One hundred and one farms under the Hankyung-myeon branch, Jocheon-eup branch, Jungmun-dong branch and Gosan-ri branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation will participate in the pilot run. The branches had previously signed MOUs with the provincial government.

The participants will receive their contracted crop payments in advance. Their monthly salary will be in the range of 300,000 to 3 million won.

The local government will decide whether to expand the implementation after the trial run finishes next February.

농업인 월급제 시범 실시…101농가 참여

제주특별자치도가
이달부터 농업인 월급제를 시범 도입합니다.

제주도는 업무협약을 체결한
한경과 조천, 중문, 고산 농협에서
참여 의사를 밝힌 101 개 농가를 대상으로
농업인 월급제를 시범 실시한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 참여 농가는
감귤과 브로콜리 출하 대금을
매달 30만 원에서 최대 300만 원까지
나눠 받게 됩니다.

제주도는
내년 2월까지 시범사업을 추진 한 뒤
확대 여부를 결정할 계획입니다.
