1. Community enhancement project launched in Jeju City
Bonggae-dong plan may cost up to \6B by 2020

Jeju Municipal Office is fully launching the community enhancement construction project at Bonggae-dong Jeju City. Bonggae-dong was selected as a development site by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in 2017.

The municipal office completed an environmental impact assessment on the planned construction site near the Children Traffic Park and began construction last month.

Officials plan to create an open access road this year with a budget of 1.1 billion won. A cultural exchange center and additional facilities will be built next year with an investment of 4.3 billion won.

The project is expected to cost 6 billion won by next year. The project includes infrastructure construction and community revitalization.

국토교통부 지원 사업으로 선정된
봉개공동체 만들기 사업이 본격 추진됩니다.

제주시는
사업 대상지인 어린이교통공원 인근 부지에 대한
소규모 환경영향평가 등 사전절차를 마무리하고
지난달 사업을 착공했다고 밝혔습니다.

올해는 11억원 예산으로 진입로를 개설하고
내년에는 43억원을 투입해 문화교류센터 신축과 부대시설 공사를
추진할 계획입니다.

이 사업에는 내년까지 60억원이 투입될 예정이며
기반시설과 더불어 공동체활성화 사업이 계획돼 있습니다.
