2. Multicultural families get their own space to gather
'Daga ON' helps nurture sense of belonging at Family Support Center

A communication space for local multicultural families has been newly established at the Multicultural Family Support Center in Jeju City.

The space is called “Daga ON'. It was created to nurture a sense of belonging for multicultural families in Jeju City and for them to communicate with the local society. The facility was established with the support from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

Meanwhile, the Jeju City Multicultural Family Support Center is conducting various projects to support local multicultural families settle down, including counseling, education and translation services.

이번에 새롭게 설치된 소통.교류공간 '다가 ON'은
여성가족부와
자치단체의 지원으로 조성됐습니다.

'다가 ON'은
다문화가족과 지역사회 간 소통과 통합,
사회참여 확대를 위한
소통, 교류공간으로 활용됩니다.

한편 제주시다문화가족지원센터는
도내 다문화가족의 안정적 정착을 위해
상담과 교육, 통번역 서비스 등 다양한 지원 사업을 펼치고 있습니다.
