Admission to the proceedings is in order of arrival

In related news, islanders showed great interest in Koh’s first hearing.

More than 80 people lined up in front of the local district court early in the morning to line up for courtroom admission tickets of Koh’s first trial. This was the first time the court had opened trial admissions to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

While Koh was hustled into a prison van after the trial, some people jeered and pulled Koh’s hair.

The Jeju District Court decided to distribute courtroom admission tickets on a first-come, first-served basis for Koh’s upcoming trials.

"고유정 직접 보겠다"...첫 재판에 시민들 몰려

한편 고유정 첫 재판에 대한
시민들의 방청 열기도 뜨거웠습니다.

제주지방법원이 사상 처음으로
선착순으로 방청권을 배부하기로 하자
80여 명의 시민들이
고유정의 재판 방청권을 얻기 위해
이른 아침부터 법정 앞에 진을 쳤습니다.

또 시민들은
재판을 마치고 호송차에 탑승하려는
고유정의 머리채를 낚아 채고
야유를 퍼붓는 등 분노를 표출하기도 했습니다.

한편, 제주지방법원은
앞으로 진행될 고유정 재판에도
방청권을 선착순으로 배부하기로 했습니다.
