3. Local police to crackdown on illegal distribution of groceries Focus on large food distributors, restaurants, retailers

The Jeju Municipal Police will crackdown on the illegal distribution of agricultural, fisheries and livestock products ahead of Chuseok holidays.

The police will focus on local large food distributors, traditional markets, large retailers and large restaurants near tourist attractions.

Officers will check for origin labeling of livestock products and food for ancestral rites. They will also look out for other food safety violations, including expired products.

제주도 자치경찰단이
추석을 앞두고 농수축산물 부정유통 행위에 대한 단속을 실시합니다.

단속 대상은
도내 대형 식자재 유통업체와 재래시장, 대형마트,
그리고 관광지 주변 대형음식점 등입니다.

특히 소고기와 옥돔과 같은 제수용 식품과
농수축산물 원산지 허위 표시 행위를 중점 단속합니다.

이와함께
유통기간이 경과한 식품을 판매 하는 행위 등 먹거리와 관련된
위법 행위에 대한 단속을 병행합니다.
