Subsidy grant doubles to \186.5B

The province secured additional state funds for Dodu Sewage Treatment Plant expansion project, which was exempt from the government's preliminary feasibility study.

Local officials said the Ministry of Economy and Finance decided to subsidize 186.5 billion won, which is 50 percent of the total project costs and double the amount Seoul had initially planned.

Seoul’s decision took into consideration the fact that the expansion project of the Dodu Sewage Treatment Plant is part of the national balanced development project.

정부의 예비타당성 조사 면제 대상으로
선정된 도두 하수처리장 증설사업에 대해
국비가 추가로 확보됐습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면
기획재정부는 3차 심의에서
도두하수처리장 증설 사업비
3천 8백억 여 원 가운데 절반인 1천 865억 원을
반영한 것으로 알려졌습니다.

당초 기재부는
전체 사업비의 25%인 950억 원만
국비로 지원한다는 방침이었지만,
균형발전 사업임을 감안해
보조율을 늘린 것으로 전해졌습니다.
