5. Provincial government to attract overseas golf tourists
PGA tour to be held at Jeju in October

The provincial government is enhancing its promotional activities to attract golf tourists connecting with PGA Tour which will be held at Jeju in October.

The provincial government will participate in golf exhibition called ‘Xgolf Show’ to be held at Coex center in Seoul on August 29th with the Jeju Tourism Association and companies in a golf industry and will set up booths.

It is planning to promote local golf tours connecting with the PGA tour in October.

40,000 participants are expected to visit the exhibition.

제주도가 오는 10월 열리는 PGA 대회와 연계해
골프관광객 유치를 위한 홍보를 강화합니다.

제주도는 관광협회와 도내 골프업계와 함께
오는 29일 서울 코엑스에서 열리는
수도권 대규모 골프박람회에 참가해
홍보부스를 운영하는 등 홍보 활동에 나선다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 오는 10월 제주에서 열리는 PGA 골프대회와 연계한
다양한 제주골프상품을 홍보할 계획입니다.

이번 수도권 대규모 골프박람회에는
4만명 정도 방문할 것으로 예상됩니다.
