Jeju Int’l Airport to pay highest fee

The provincial government and municipal city offices estimated traffic congestion charges starting October 2020 to be more than 10 billion won.

Traffic congestion charges will be levied on urban facilities larger than 1,000 square meters in the island.

Jeju International Airport topped the list, followed by Lotte City Hotel Jeju and Jeju International Convention Center. They will each be charged with 430 million won, 380 million and 350 million won, respectively.

Traffic congestion charges will be finalized next August after reviewing each facility’s plan and achievement for traffic congestion reduction.

내년 10월부터
교통유발부담금이 처음으로 부과될 예정인 가운데
부과금액은 100억 원대에 이를 것으로 추산되고 있습니다.

제주도와 행정시에 따르면,
교통유발부담금 고지금액 산정을 위한 전수조사 결과
부과금액은 모두 105억 원으로 잠정 집계됐습니다.

부담금이 가장 많은 곳은 제주국제공항으로
연간 4억 3천여 만원,
이어 롯데호텔제주가 3억 8천여 만원,
제주국제컨벤션센터 3억 5천여 만원 등입니다.

최종 부과금액은
건물별 교통량 감축 이행 계획과 실적 등을 검토해
내년 8월쯤 확정됩니다.
