2. Province to devise plans to restore 4.3 heritage sites
Officials to ask Seoul to fully fund restoration costs of \30B

The provincial government will create a comprehensive plan for the maintenance and restoration of April 3rd Incident historical sites, in addition to funding this project starting from 2020 through 2025.

Officials are devising a restoration plan with the comprehensive plan. 30 historic sites including Goneul-dong and the Jujeonggong traditional market were designated to be restored.

The local government will ask Seoul for a total of 30 billion won to fund the restoration of these historic sites.

4.3 유적지 유지 관리와 복원,
그리고 재원 조달 방안 등을 담은 종합계획을 수립한다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 종합계획을 수립하면서
정비계획을 병행해 추진하고 있으며
현재 화북 곤을동과 옛 주정공장터 등
4.3 유적지 30개소를 대상으로 진행중입니다.

제주도는
4.3 유적지 정비를 위해
3백억 원이 필요한 것으로 예상된다며
전액 국비로 반영될 수 있도록 정부에 지원을 요청할 계획입니다.
