1. Province to apply for Land Ministry’s urban renewal project
Jeju seeks to add 3 sites to Land Ministry program

The province will expand its urban renewal project.

The provincial government will submit plans for Jungang-dong and Sagye-ri in Seogwipo City and Geonip-dong in Jeju City to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to apply for the urban renewal project in the second half of this year.

The total cost of the project is 50 billion won, and projects such as building public housing, a new government complex, and revitalizing the villages will be promoted.

If the province’s applications are selected by the Land Ministry, the number of sites eligible for urban renewal projects in Jeju will be eight.

제주특별자치도가
도시재생사업을 확대 추진합니다.

이를 위해 국토부의 하반기 도시재생 뉴딜사업에
서귀포시 중앙동과 제주시 건입동,
서귀포 사계리 등 세 곳을 공모할 예정입니다.

전체 사업비는 5백억 원 규모로
행복주택과 복합청사 건립,
마을 공동체 활성화 사업 등이 추진됩니다.

국토부 최종사업으로 선정되면
제주지역 도시재생사업 대상지는 8곳으로 늘어납니다.
