2. Province to push for market penetration of small EV
Subsidies to increase from ?\2.5 to ?\4M

The province is pushing to increase the number of small electric vehicles in the island.

The local government will thus increase subsidies for purchases of small electric vehicles from 2.5 million won last year to 4 million won this year.

It will also implement various policies such as designating parking areas exclusively for small electric vehicles, exempting parking fees for public parking lots and expanding EV charging facilities.

Currently, there are 222 ultra-small electric cars registered in Jeju Island.

제주특별자치도가
초소형 전기차 보급정책을 추진합니다.

이를 위해 차량구입에 따른 보조금을
지난해 250만원에서
올해 400만원으로 늘려 지원합니다.

또 초소용전기차 전용 주차구역 지정과
공영주차장 주차요금 면제,
충전시설 설치 확대 등 다양한 정책을 추진합니다.

현재 제주도내에 등록된 초소형 전기차는 222대입니다.
