2. KMA forecasts warm temperature throughout fall in Jeju
One typhoon to affect the island during autumn

The Jeju Branch of Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts Jeju Island to be generally warm throughout this fall and a typhoon to affect the island.

According to the KMA, the temperatures of this fall season will be similar to that of the normal year with large temperature fluctuations.

In September, rainfall will be similar to that of the average year. However, some heavy rain is expected in October and November.

KMA predicts a season average of 9 to 12 typhoons to occur this year. However, just one typhoon is expected to reach Korea.

올 가을 제주는 대체로 포근한 가운데
태풍은 1개 정도가 영향을 줄 것이란 전망이 나왔습니다.

제주지방기상청이 발표한 가을철 기후 전망 자료에 따르면
기온은 평년과 비슷한 가운데
기온 변화가 클 것으로 전망됐습니다.

강수량은
다음달의 경우 평년과 비슷한 반면
10월과 11월에는
다소 많은 비가 내릴 때가 있을 것으로 예상됐습니다.

태풍은 평년 수준인 9개에서 12개가 발생해
우리나라에는 약 1개 정도가 영향을 줄 것으로
기상청은 전망했습니다.
