Beneficiaries to receive \300K for 36 months

Elderly haenyeo women sea divers will receive a monthly allowance from the province from the end of this month.

170 elderly haenyeo older than 80-years-old applied for the retirement allowance. This is about a one fourth of the total number of 660 elderly haenyeo in the island.

Beneficiaries will receive a monthly retirement allowance of 300,000 won for the next three years from the end of this month.

고령 해녀 은퇴수당을 지급합니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면
80세 이상 고령 해녀 660여 명 가운데
25.7%인 170명이 은퇴수당 지급을 신청했습니다.

이들은 앞으로 조업을 하지 않는 조건으로
이달 말부터 3년 동안
매월 30만 원의 은퇴수당을 지급받게 됩니다.
