Booking rates for flights and ships surpass 90%

With 190 thousand people expected to visit Jeju during the Chuseok holiday, the booking rate for flights and ships heading Jeju is over 90 percent.

The Jeju Tourism Association predicts that a total of 190 thousand people will visit Jeju during the four-day period, starting with 52,000 visitors on the first day of the holiday.

The estimated daily average number of visitors is 47,500, which is about a 5 percent increase from 45 thousand visitors last year during the Chuseok holiday.

Some 12 hundred domestic and international flights and 43 ships will be flying and sailing from and to Jeju, with a reservation rate over 90 percent.

제주자치도관광협회는 연휴 첫날 12일 5만2천명을 시작으로 15일까지 나흘간 19만명이 제주를 찾을 것으로 전망했습니다.

하루 평균 방문객은 4만 7천5백명으로
닷새동안의 연휴기간이던 지난해 4만 5천여명이 제주를 찾은 것과 비교해 5% 가량 증가했습니다.

이 기간 제주기점 국내선과 국제선은 천2백여편, 선박 43편이 운항되며 현재 90% 이상의 예약률을 보이고 있습니다.
