3. POE to support education fees for students with rare, incurable diseases
Students to receive financial support up to ￦3M per person

For the first time in the country, the Provincial Office of Education will support education fees for students with rare and incurable diseases to ensure their right to education.

The office will cover up to 3 million won per student attending local kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools. Beneficiaries are required to be diagnosed with one of the four major diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease and rare & incurable diseases.

Applicants can apply for online tuition fees, special aptitude education fees, and expenses for hospital treatment.

Applications will be open from September 16th to November 8th.

난치병 학생들의 학습권 보장을 위한 교육비가 지원됩니다.

제주도교육청은
도내 유치원과 초,중,고등학교에 재학생 가운데
암이나 심·뇌혈관, 희귀 난치성질환 등
4대 질병을 가진 학생을 대상으로
한명에 최대 3백만원을 지원한다고 밝혔습니다.

교육비는
온라인 수강료나 특기 적성 학원비,
병원 치료 등을 위한 체재비 등
본인이 원하는 항목으로 신청이 가능합니다.

신청 기간은 오는 16일부터 11월 8일까지입니다.
