2. 2,300 fishing households in Jeju City applies for subsidy
Number of applicants increases by 11% from 2018

Some 2,350 fishing households in Jeju City have applied for subsidies offered to those living in disadvantageous location.

This is an 11% increase from last year, due to the expansion of beneficiary areas from eup and myeon administrative districts to dong district this year.

The Jeju Municipal Office will use a computer system to verify the eligibility of applicants and give out subsidies in November.

Last year, some 1,920 fishing households were given subsidies of 1.15 billion won.

2천350 여 어가가 접수됐습니다.

지난해보다 11% 증가한 것으로
올해부터 지급 대상 지역이
읍면에서 동지역까지 확대됐기 때문입니다.

제주시는
앞으로 신청 어가를 대상으로
전산시스템을 활용해
적격 여부를 검증한 후에
11월 중 수산직불금을 지급할 계획입니다.

지난해에는 1천920여 어가에 수산직불금 11억 5천여 만원이 지급됐습니다.
