3. Seogwipo City to inspect eggs for pesticide residue
Eggs with high levels of chemicals to be discarded entirely

Seogwipo City will inspect eggs sold on the local market to ensure safety for consumption.

The eggs will be collected from local retailers and tested at the local Veterinary Service Laboratory for 9 weeks through November 15th.

Egg batches found with inappropriate levels of pesticide and antibiotic residue will be discarded entirely.

Violators will be punished in accordance with the Livestock Products Sanitary Control Act.

서귀포시, 유통 달걀 잔류물질 수거검사

서귀포시가
시중에 유통되고 있는
달걀의 안전성을 확보하기 위해 수거 검사를 실시합니다.

이번 검사는 오는 11월 15일까지 9주동안
마트 등에서 유통중인 달걀을 수거한 후
동물위생시험소에 의뢰해 이뤄집니다.

특히 살충제 성분과 잔류항생제 검사 결과
부적합 할 경우 전량 회수해 폐기할 계획입니다.
