1. Seoul lifts pig transport suspension
Local government still on alert for ASF

The nationwide pig transport suspension was lifted on Thursday two days after the outbreak of the African swine fever.

Local slaughterhouses have resumed operation and vehicles that have completed disinfection have been allowed to distribute pork and bring in feed.

However, pork produced from outside of Jeju is still prohibited to bring into the island.

The province is maintaining the minimum alert level, while strengthening quarantine inspections at the local airport and seaport and strictly controlling access into pig farms.

아프리카돼지열병 발생 이틀만에
일시 이동중지 조치가 해제됐습니다.

이에 따라
제주에서도 도축장 가동이 재개됐고
소독과 방역을 마친 차량에 한해
돼지고기 유통과 사료 반입이
허용됐습니다.

하지만,
여전히 다른 지역산
돼지고기와
열처리 안된 축산 가공품은
반입이 금지되고 있습니다.

제주도는
최소 경계수준인 '심각 단계'를 유지하면서
공항만 차단방역을 강화하고
양돈농가 출입을
엄격히 통제하고 있다고
밝혔습니다.
