2. Province shuts down local hunting grounds
Officials to capture wild boars to control ASF outbreak

The province closed down local hunting grounds to prevent the spread of the African Swine Fever.

The hunting grounds will be closed until the nationwide outbreak of the ASF virus is put under control.

Also, the plan to operate the grounds from November 28th through next February has been deferred.

The local government will form a special team to capture wild boars, which carry and spread the virus, and manage carcasses.

아프리카 돼지열병 유입 차단을 위해 수렵장 운영이 중단합니다.

제주특별자치도는
아프리카 돼지열병 전국 피해상황이 종료될 때까지
수렵장 운영을 중단하기로 결정했습니다.

이에 따라
오는 11월 28일부터 내년 2월까지 예정된
수렵장 운영 계획도 보류했습니다.

제주도는
유해야생동물기동반을 편성해
돼지열병 매개체인 야생멧돼지 포획과
폐사체 관리 등을 강화할 방침입니다.
