Jeju shows highest number of dropouts

More than 600 elderly people are expected to lose their basic pension status this year due to rising land prices in Jeju.

According to data submitted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Health and Welfare to Lawmaker Kim Sang-hoon, 631 islanders exceeded the income threshold of a basic pension due to this year's increase in land prices.

This number is 1.1 percent out of 60,000 recipients in Jeju, which is highest in the country and well above the national average of 0.3 percent.

소득 인정액을 재산정한 결과
제주에서는 631명이
선정 기준을 초과하는 것으로 나타났습니다.

전체 수급자 약 6만 명 가운데
1.1%에 해당하는 수치로
전국 평균 0.3%을 크게 웃돌았고
전국에서도 가장 높았습니다.
